Children (and adults) will enjoy making and eating this dessert.
1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling
1 can (8 oz) crushed pineapple, undrained
1 box yellow cake mix
1/2 cup butter/margarine melted
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Spread pie filling and pineapple in ungreased 13 x 9 pan
- Mix together dry cake mix and butter in a large bowl,using a spoon, until crumbly
- Sprinkle mixture evenly over fruit
Bake for 45 to 50 minutes or until deep golden brown. Cool 30 minutes.
Serve warm or cool
